RC Vision Makes Progress on First Site

Stockwell in central London could be the location for RC Vision’s first facility.

London, England - Oct. 29, 2021. RC Vision has entered into talks aimed at securing the site for the first racing and learning facility. The site, close to the world-famous Oval cricket ground in the London Borough of Lambeth, has been home to a community karting project for many years, run by a local charity.

The charity, Oasisplay, provides inclusive play and learning facilities for children and young people in the community. They have a long track record of enabling disabled and non-disabled children from minoritised and deprived circumstances to lead more fulfilled lives, play positive roles in the community, and progress in lifelong learning and work.

"There is a huge overlap in our missions", commented RC Vision founder Andy Hyde. "By developing the karting facility to enable electric radio control car racing, we can dramatically increase the use of the site, expand the appeal to those less interested in karting, and accelerate the social impact for young people in the area".
